Authorities said a 35 year old Florida woman has been identified after gunfire struck Rihanna’s Los Angeles area home over the weekend. Investigators allege she fired about 10 rounds from a vehicle parked across the street, using an AR 15 style rifle. No one was injured.
Court records show the woman was booked on a felony attempted murder charge, and her bond was set at $10.2 million. Police say Rihanna was home at the time of the shooting. Reports from the scene said the rounds damaged the property’s front gate, and at least one bullet hit an RV parked in the driveway.
The suspect was later taken into custody in Sherman Oaks after leaving the neighborhood. Officials have not announced a motive, and the investigation is still active.
The case adds a serious legal turn to an incident that rattled a quiet residential area and raised new concerns about celebrity home security in Los Angeles. For now, the confirmed facts remain limited to the arrest, the alleged gunfire, and the charges now in motion.
